REVIEW | TBS ''MOROCCO Black Olive & Argan Oil Scrub''

Hi lovelies, today I'm doing a review on the ''MOROCCO Black Olive & Argan Oil Scrub'' from The Body Shop. I bought this a while ago as you can see on the pictures, I have been using it a lot. Since I've used it that much, I thought it would be time to write a review on it. So let's get going..

The scrub is from the Spa Wisdom™ collection, which you can find at the spa and massage products (online and in stores). The scrub has a price of (around 12,00 EUR / $14,00 USD ). The description says ''it promotes a radiant looking glow and increases circulation with a rich, intense exfoliating scrub to remove dead skin cells while deeply cleansing to reveal soft, smooth refined skin''. Plus the scrub is meant for all skin types. Now the description to me sounds like a lot for just a scrub, I honestly think that the description sounds more exciting than the product itself. Now let's just start by how exfoliating it actually is. The scrub contains olive stone granules and ground argan nuts, which gently exfoliate the skin. So to me the whole intense exfoliating part doesn't make much sense, nevertheless my skin does feel softer after I've used it.

Next I want to talk about the smell, because that's my favorite part about this product. The black olive and argan oil smell amazing together. Now I'm already a big fan of argan oil, because I always use it after I have washed my hair, but this is probably my favorite product that contains argan oil. I would describe the smell as mysterious, because it has this strong dark but sweet smell. Whenever I have used this in the shower, my skin smells exactly the same after I come out of the shower and the best part is my skin still smells like the scrub hours later. So the smell is really strong, but I really love it. If I should rate this product I would give it 9 out of 10, because I love the soft exfoliating feel and the amazing smells that is left on my body. In short word, I would definitely recommend you all to go to your local Body Shop and just smell it or even buy it, because it's definitely worth it!

I hope you guys liked my little review, what is your favorite Body Shop product? Thanks for reading.

FASHION | Zara new collection (pre-autumn 2013)

Hi lovelies, a few days ago I went to Antwerp in Belgium and I did some shopping and sightseeing. The last shop I visited was Zara, because Zara is just a chaos whenever you visit during the sale time, so I decided that Zara would be the last shop on my list. This particular Zara was probably the most beautiful one I've seen, because it had this amazing fancy stairs, which sounds very weird but the pictures will show. They had these cool dolls set-up that previewed the new collection which was part of the pre-autumn clothing. I decided to shot some pictures, so you can all see what Zara has in store for the fall time.

My favorite outfit is the one on the second row, which is the doll with the leather jacket, printed jeans and faux Dr Martins. The leather jacket is a great exemple of the ''new leather jacket style'' that I've talked about in one of my FFOTM, to read that blog post click here. Anyways You can see loads of black and different tones of red coming back this fall seasons, which I'm really excited about. Black is my most worn color, so it's great to know it will be a color thats in fashion. Here a couple more shots of the collection.

By the way these were the stairs I was talking about. It could be just me, but I just loved them (or maybe it was due the fact that there was a giant poster of a really handsome man in a suit displayed...haha just kidding just kidding). They looked so chique and elegant. I really want stairs like that in my future home, haha I wish. Oh well I can dream right?

I hope you guys liked this little pre-autumn preview. Whats your favorite outfit of the new collection? Thanks for reading.

FASHION | OOTD : Back to black

Hi lovelies, today I have a little outfit of the day. The weather has been a bit more rainy, but the summer is still here, so let's get going to the outfit..

So as you can see I'm the type of girl that loves wearing black and gold. I'm going to start off with the clothes I'm wearing. The skort I'm wearing is from Forever 21, which looks exactly like the Zara one that I couldnt find in store back then. I was so happy to find this skort in Forever 21, because it was just ( €17,75 EUR / $23,56 USD ) which means it's way cheaper than the Zara one (which is $49.90 USD). The top I'm wearing is just a simple H&M tank top, which you can find in any store for maybe 5 bucks.

Here's a little closeup of my skort and a picture of the sandals that I'm wearing. The orange sandals are made from faux snake print leather. I bought these last summer in a little outlet shop and since then they have been my favorite sandals ever. They're really comfy and I can walk on these for several hours.

These are the accessories that I'm wearing. Ofcourse my Casio watch that I wear every single day, it's so easy to style and I love it so much. The necklace is a recent buy from Claires. I was looking for a nice gold necklace and my eyes caught this one. The price of the necklace was ( 12,99 EUR / $12,50 USD ). If you're interested in the necklace; European/UK readers click here and American readers click here. Last but not least are these gold lion head stud earrings from River Island. These were a bargain, because I bought them for just ( €2,00 / £2,00 GBP / $4,00 USD ). I thought they were super cute and I love wearing gold stud earings. If you're interested in these stud earings: European readers click hereUK readers click here and American readers click here.

This was my little ootd, I hope you guys liked it. Thanks for reading.

BEAUTY | Victoria's Secret Haul

Hi lovelies, today I have a little beauty haul for you all. Yesterday I went on a little airport trip to Amsterdam, because I was picking up my friend from Aruba. Before her plane landed I decided to shop a little bit at our only Victoria's Secret in the Netherlands, which is on Amsterdam's aiport itself. I didn't buy a lot, just something for myself and a present for my mom's birthday, so let's get going.

I'm going to start off with the fragrance mist or body mist I bought. It's called ''Midnight Dare'' and it contains raspberry and sandalwood. I've probably smelled nearly all the body mists in the whole shop, because I couldn't choose which one I liked the most. Eventually I liked this one best. It has a sweet smell, which isn't too overpowering and which kind of reminds of vanilla. This doesn't smell like you just sprayed pure candy on yourself, but it's just a light breeze of sweetness on your skin.

Next I bought a body lotion from the same ''Midnight Dare'' collection. This obviously contains raspberry and sandalwood as well. I didn't know what to buy for my mom, because my mom never asks for big birthday presents. I decided it would be nice if I bought a nice smelling body lotion from Victoria's Secret, because she loved the one that she got from someone for her birthday last year.

So those were the things I bought at Victoria's Secret, who's your fave VS model? (I have more; Candice, Barbara, Cara + old VS models) Thanks for reading.

FASHION | Lovely outfits and inspirations #3

Hi lovelies, today I have another ''Lovely outfits and inspirations'' for you all. I have found so many lovely and cute outfits online, so I'm excited to share another few of my likes that I recently found. So let's hurry up with this intro and get going with the outfits..

1 | The first outfit is this gorgeous maxi dress with, silver gladiators, a red clutch and black/gold detailed jewelry. Now personally purple is not my color, but this dress has purple mixed with greens and blues which makes the print look gorgeous and the whole style just really suits her.

2 | I have seen this picture so much on my tumblr dashboard, this outfit looks sophisticated but with an edgy look. The sweater and collar make it look quite sophisticated, but the leather jacket and the faux leather (feel-ish) leggings give such an edge to this outfit. It looks really comfortable and I would definitely wear this look.

3 | This is probably my fave out of all these outfits, this look just looks so comfortable and simple but so cute. She's wearing a dress (or long t-shirt I'm not sure) and she paired it with a simple black cross body bag, some aviators, a gold bangle and my fave part white converse. I would definitely wear this, such a lovely look.

4 | The next look is this girl wearing a floral jumpsuit with a gorgeous floral statement necklace, a white/nudish shoulderstrap bag, some gold jewerly and lovely nude heels with gold straps. I honestly wish this outfit would magically appear in my closet. I usually NEVER wear floral unless it's lace, I don't know what it is, but I just look awkward in floral prints...anways this jumpsuit is probably the first actual floral clothing piece that caught my eye and I just love it.

5 | This purple mixed with nude dress is gor-geous. As I said purple is not my color, but this dress is amazingly gorgeous and I wish this would hang in my closet, but unfortunatly not. This looks is simple but very classy and fashionable, so definitely a like.

6 | When I first saw this outfit my first reaction was ''huh?!'' and honestly my reaction is still the same whenever I see the dress, because the design looks so extraordinary. I'm still not sure if it's the photo or the dress, but I can't figure how the actual design of the dress is really like....but I just though it was a maxi dress with a tight bodycon dress underneath...anyways dispite the fact that I can't figure how this dress actually is designed...it still looks amazing. So I'm not going to ramble further about how this dress confuses me haha.

7 | Now here we have the lovely Wendy from wendyslookbook.com. She always has the most amazing classy outfits ever and this shows why. She looks absolutely stunning in this sheer lace detailed top and light pink skinny jeans. She always knows how to style her accessories with the perfect outfit. Please go check out her website, so we can admire her lovely outfits together.

8 | Last but not least, Blake Lively. Now Blake, also known as the it-girl Serena Van Der Woodsen in Gossip Girl, always knows how to steal the show in real life. This dress compliments her beautiful looks and I'm just completely in love with this whole outfit. The floral dress with nude heels look gorgeous together, all I have to say is well done to her stylist...you're amazing.

I hope you guys liked it, what's your fave from the pictures above? Thanks for reading.

FFOTM : The Leather Jacket

Hi lovelies, today I'm back with another ''Fashion Find Of the Moment''. You might think...the leather jacket has been in fashion for ages and ages...yes that's very true, but lately I've seen leather jackets with a certain kind of style in more shops, so that why I'm making this blogpost.

The kind of style I'm talking about is an asymmetric leather jacket with kind of details on the shoulders. It's kind of hard to explain but the pictures will give you the idea of the style. The first jacket I found was by the ''New Icons'' collection by H&M. This collection was in stores around a month (or two) ago and they had this amazing leather jacket. But here's the thing, I was like ''I'm SO going to get that''...but then I checked the pricetag and it said €150,- and I was like ''nevermind''. I was kind of suprised how expensive it was for H&M, so I was kind of disappointed that I couldn't buy it....anyways here's a little collage of the jacket.

The next jacket I found was by Zara, now Zara is known for a more expensive shop...at least where I live. I sometimes find Zara ridiculously expensive for little tops and things...anyways I saw this jacket hanging in the shop and I already knew it would be expensive, because Zara jackets are mostly quite expensive....and yes I check the pricetag and it said either €160,- or €170,- which wasn't too surprising to me, but it was still disappointing because the jacket was gorgeous. Anyways here are some pictures of the jacket.

So after two disappointments I kind of gave up on the jackets, but then my mom and decided to go to this little market in a village near my hometown. I was looking around at some cute little clothing shop and there I found it...my leather jacket...and guess what €29.95....just 30 bucks for a jacket I've been dying to get. Ofcourse it's not real leather, but I couldn't care less, because I finally have it and I'm so excited to wear it. Unfortunatly it's still too hot to wear it, but knowing the Dutch weather it won't be too long before I can show off my new bargain.

I hope you guys liked my seconds FFOTM, what's your opinion on this type of (leather) jacket? Thanks for reading.

FASHION | FFOTM : The Skort

Hi lovelies, two days ago I posted something about the flower headband trend and because trends come and go, I decided to start a series called: ''Fashion find of the moment'' (FFOTM). In these articles I will talk about what's trendy at the moment and what my personal opinion about that certain trend is.

Anyways today I'm going to talk about the skort, also know as the skirt short. This clothing item isn't as new as you think it is, because skorts are actually daily used in activities like sports. But let's not go there and go to the fashion part of skorts. The whole concept of a skort is wearing shorts, which look like you're wearing a skirt. Now to me the first thing that comes in mind is: you are wearing a short ''skirt'', but you're not afraid that your more private parts will show, so it covers you up and it's probably more comfortable than a mini skirt. To me the whole concept about skorts sounds interesting, even though I haven't seen loads in stores yet. Anyways enough talking let's get to the pictures.

I took one of the most popular skorts of the moment, which is the Zara one. I love how the hem of the skort is in this triangle shape instead of just a boring straight hem. This gives the skort a bit of an edge and more of an statement.

I kinda like this whole skort idea, I think they would probably be quite comfy and obviously really fashionable and great to style. What's you opinion about the skorts trend? I hope you guys liked it, thanks for reading.

FASHION | Flower headbands

Hi lovelies, today I want to talk about flower headbands. When I think about flower headbands I think about daisy headbands that I used to make when I was little. I always picked up daisies near our house and connected them to eachother, so I could wear it as a headband. Anyways lately these headbands have been so popular that they definitely count as one of the summer trends of 2013. I did some research and collected all kinds of pictures that show off my fav flower headband looks, so here are the results..

LIFE | Lovely London

Hi lovelies, today I wanted to talk about my dream city: London. Most people choose New York, but I haven't been there yet so London is my all time fav for now. Last year I visited London twice, once in May and once October. I convinced my mom to get on a plane, book a hotel and sightsee through London. I honestly fell in love with the city. The shops aren't only the best part, but the culture and the people (and the accents hehe). Here are some pictures from both trips to London, in between I'll just tell some experiences I had while I was there..
