DIY HALLOWEEN | Cat Ears Headband

Hi lovelies, today I'm doing a special DIY in theme of Halloween. Even though we don't really celebrate Halloween here, I just think it's a really awesome day to dress up and have fun. Well for those who are late on a getting a costume, here's a little DIY to be a bit more dressed up for the big day.

To see all the details on this DIY click the link below.

The tools you need for this DIY; gold/silver jewelry wire, a thin headband (I quickly made mine out of the wire, because I didn't have one), a gluegun, something to measure with, 12 pearl beads, pliers and cutting pliers. So you once you have all your tools, you can get started.

Step 1 || Take out your wire and measure 12 cm / 4,7 inches and cut it at the end. This will be one of the ears, so you have to measure 2 pieces of that size

Step 2 || Bend both wires in the middle (6 cm) and try to make it a bit pointy. This will make it look more like a cat shaped ear.

Step 3 || Take out your pearl beads and kinda eyeball where the beads should be placed. Make sure to leave around 1,5-2 cm, you will need that space for later. So once you eyeballed where your beads should be placed, take out your glue gun and place a little dot on the wire for your first bead, then slide your bead on the wire, so it will be glued succesfully.

Step 4 || Once you have glued all the beads onto the wire it will look like this.

Step 5 || Take out your normal pliers and curl the remaining wire (so the ends) inwards. Do this to both ears. The curled ends will be the parts that will be glued onto the headband. The curl provides a better surface to glue onto the headband.

Step 6 || Once both ears are completed, measure where you want your ears to be.

Step 7 ||  Take out your gluegun and glue the ears onto your headband and there you go. Your catears have been completed.

I hope you guys enjoyed my little DIY, thanks for reading and have a great Halloween!

Love, Sabine
